I have come to realize in the past few weeks (or months, even years) that I am only good at two things..... (1) being a good mom. (2)making my dolls. What has made me realize this? Job hunting. Applications. Interviews. Tests. Questionairres. It's tough out there. Really tough. And so many people have way more skills than me. so why would someone hire me, with no experience over someone that has tons? and is confident? and can sell themself? I guestion this on a daily basis. But I do have some important things to offer. I'm a HARD worker. You can trust me and count on me. I am very reliable. I will give a job 100%. But this stuff doesn't show on the application. Nor does it show in my interviews when I get all nervous and flustered. I've had some very tough days lately. and it must be showing to Christopher. he left this on my desk the other night for me to wake up to in the morning. I LOVE my son so much!
he's right...we will get through this..... and I'm sure we'll look back and say "wow that was easy". Just doesn't feel that way right now.
okay. enough of my pitty party. I received the best call last night from my bff Missy and she said "thats it, done with the pitty party, let's be what we used to be!" alright! I'm on board! because I terribly miss what we had, we could conquer the world a few years back! Nothing stopped us! We were running hard! I wish we lived close to each other!!!! There are so many things we could do together!!!!
I put some new dolls on my website last night! I broke up the Lil Girl sets, just in case you want just one! They are so super cute!
and I made the cutest set using one of Missy's patterns! I don't think I've ever made them before...they turned out super cute!
and then there's a new little one! This is Lil Squirt Annie.
Thanks everyone for reading!!! I love ya'll! And a special hug to my friend Nancy right now! You know why! Love ya!
Hang in there. My daughter wrote me a note many years ago, when life was very difficult. I didn't give up, things got better, and I will treasure that note forever.
Hugs,
Cindi

I am sorry you are having such a hard time. My BFF lives in Victoria, I live in IN. That letter is priceless. Something to hang onto forever. Brought tears to my eyes. Take care.
