omgosh...these poor babies were freezing waiting for me to get back from Vegas to dress them!!!! So I finally did!

I cannot believe that this month is over! And I am embarrased to admit that I have not bought one Christmas gift! ouch! Everything my son wants is sooo expensive!

I had a birthday......ugh! Why do they keep coming so quick?
It was a wonderful day. Yummy boyfriend "tried" to give me 41 spanks but I wasn't having any of it. He said my mom put him up to it. We went to dinner to The Roadhouse that night. Love that place! Peanuts on every table and you get to crack them and make a mess on the floor! And they have the BEST rolls! yummy...of course fattening too! Who cares..it was my birthday! My friend Kim told them it was my birthday! omg!!!!! They came and put a "butt gasket" (toilet seat thingy) around my neck and "coffee filter" on my head and sang to me. I was sooo embarrased! How dare her!
And of course right after my birthday comes Thanksgiving. This year was not normal though. It was our "off year" for the kids, meaning it was the ex's year. so we decided to run away. I didn't know how I was going to be without Christopher and it would be really hard for me to be around others enjoying (and screaming at) their kids. I remember watching my brother go through it and seeing how upset he was so I decided to bail from it. call me weak. So we made plans to go to Vegas. It's close and the hotels are cheap! And you know...it was perfect! I forgot it was Thanksgiving! It was wierd! Like the holiday totally went and I didn't realize it! I did miss the yummy food though. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and we had the best room! I wanted to move right in! Here are some pics from our stay. I didn't take my big camera...I knew I'd regret it either way, so I just decided to go without it. So I only had my camera phone.

I can't beleive that it's almost Thanksgiving! Didn't I just turn 40? and now I'm turning 41? geesh. Time needs to slow down! And for many reasons! Mostly because of my son. He's just growing up way too fast! Total teenager! Super handsome! but I miss that lil baby face!
My friend Kim found this on her computer a few months back. I love this picture! omg..back in the day when my son would wear matching jammies with a friend! or better yet, let me take pictures of them in matching jammies! gawd they were soooo tiny. so cute!
This will be my first Thanksgiving without Christopher. It's going to be hard. But Yummy Boyfriend and I have big plans to help us through it (he doesn't have his boys either). My mommy won't be here for my birthday this year. that makes me sad. I miss her and she won't be here until February.
It's getting cold here. I was on it this year and bought some firewood. It was delivered yesterday. And I burnt the hair off my hands lighting my first fire! burning hair doesn't smell very good! Here's my pile of wood.
And because I had a warm fire burning in my room, it helped me stay up later and work...so last night I worked hard getting dolls and clothes done! I finished them up this morning...and they are now on my website.

November is always my favorite month! ha! that's cause it's my birthday month! I always seem to try and make it all about me. It never happens....but I can wish right? I don't know...it's just always given me a little tingle and made me smile to be my birthday month. I love Birthdays! Its funny because I'm not the kind of girl who has to have the spotlight on her...so I don't know why I make such a huge deal of it. whatever....I can have my own lil party in my mind right? And of course...I'm going to spoil myself a little like I always do. You gotta buy your own gifts to get what you want right? So alot is good this month. You already know about my birthday...and then right after that I get to upgrade my cell phone...woo hoo...and I'm splurging and getting an iphone. See...thats my lil gift to myself! Then right after that it's Thanksgiving...but this year Thanksgiving will be a little different.....because I don't have my son this year (so sad) and Bruce doesn't have his boys either, so we have decided to make it about us...and going to spend some time ALONE in VEGAS!!!!!! Kinda hard to be around others kids when you don't have your own. It's really sad...and I'd probably cry the whole time! This is the first time EVER that I won't have my son on a holiday! but I know I have to share! And...another thing happened this month...just happened....my divorce is finally done. that only took forever..actually 4 months shy of 2 years. That is behind me and now. That was alot of stress for me. I was forced to get an attorney and I ended up HATING her! what a total waste of money! Now I don't have insurance...and that scares the crap out of me! I guess I'll have to refrain from all that fun stuff I do like motorcycle riding, bungy jumping, roller blading and snow skiiing. wait...I don't do any of that stuff! aha (like my son would say).
Moving on........I finished up a few dolls this week! And I've already listed them on my website! Check them out!
