We had a big storm go through yesterday! The wind was soooo bad!!!!! I came home to find our trash cans down the street and mud plastered all over the Bronco. No, we didn't go 4x4ing. That was thanks to the wind and rain blowing sideways picking up dirt and sandblasting it! What a mess!
alrighty....off to start some new babies...and clean the house up a bit too. I'm in the mood to "clear out". My mood is icky today...so I get like that when I'm pissy! And my pissiness is thanks to my teenager! ugh! I'll get over it!
a blog that I check daily.......a really GREAT photographer........an wonderful gal all around posted some pictures a while back of her scrapbook/office room. TO DIE FOR! She had hung up vintage tin trays for magnets. Brilliant! I've had 3 of them stashed away for months now. Found them at a thrift store, too cheap to pass up. But have yet to use them! Well now i have.

I've been sewing like crazy! and it feels GREAT! I just put some more dolls on my website this morning! More witches! I think I've made more witches in the past month than I've ever made the whole time I've been making dolls! it's crazy! Be sure to check them out! they are super cute!
Christopher's been begging for more driving lessons!!!!! I don't know if I'm ready for this or not.....but I only have just over a year. ouch! I set up the trash cans and made him parallel park....over and over again. Start out with the hard stuff right?

My son was 4 when 9-11 happened. He drew this picture. I have it saved in plastic. I'm so glad I kept it. He was young, he didn't actually understand everything that was happening, but those images were plastered in his mind because it was on tv, and I was glued to it. Sadly, I remember it like it was yesterday. I remembered being scared. I rememeber not wanting to take my son to preschool. Not wanting to leave the house. Not wanting him out of my sight. Everyone was putting flags on their cars, real flags, big flags, on big poles on the back of their pickups. Flag stickers on back windows. Flags on houses. And I remember even seeing people paint thier garage doors as flags. I can't beleive it's been 10 years.
I'm on a doll making roll! I'm enjoying it! It feels great!!!! Just finished updating my website just now!

Christopher went to his first High School home football game tonight. He went with friends. They planned it all up on their own. Adam was coming over here. Menko-Ryan and his sister (a senior) who drives (his ride home from baseball conditioning every day) were coming to pick him up. Okay...I'm letting loose on the reins a little here. Normally, I'd be his ride to and from something like that. But he has GREAT friends, and I know the family and they are good kids! REALLY GOOD kids! and well......I got the call....mom, we're ok, but Daylene got in an accident! ugh! That is sooo NOT the call you want to hear! And thankfully he is ok!!! They are all ok!!!!! it was just a fender bender, but still!!!!! Poor Daylene. She's all shook up. I know..been there done that at her age. I'm just so not ready for this driving crap though!!!! and it just reminds me how much I'm not ready for it, but it's right around the corner for us! ugh! All boys are safe and in my house at the moment. They have big plans to golf in the morning...as long as there is no thunder storm.
Alrighty, off to bed. it's late and I'm tired! Night all!
