Raggedy Old Annies

I wish I could say......

it's in the mail...but not just yet....I'm still working! So gals that are waiting for your dolls (CowGirls, Americana Annie's and Tiny Annie's) I haven't forgotten! My excuse...as if there are any excuses....kiddos birthday!

The party is Friday night! 12 boys coming over to spend the night! Why do I do this to myself I have no idea! But I figured get it over on Friday night...which is his actual birthday, then they leave in the morning and I still have all weekend...to work on your orders!!!!! I have been working all week on them, getting sidetracked by life.....and I fully intended to have all my orders out in todays mail...well that didn't actually work! Tomorrow is not looking good either! I still have to clean up the house tonight! But they are almost done....I mean..really close to almost done! But I just don't think I can swing it! I forced myself to bed last night when my eyes were draggin as I was stitching faces!

Last year, we did a give-away on his birthday...and well not being very organized this year....my give-away isn't quite ready.....so next week....we'll do it! She should be ready by then..ooopsss...did I say she? That kinda gives it away huh?

So wish me luck on Friday night....12 pre-teen boys here. Is 11 preteen? heck..what do I know. They are acting like teenagers these days! I have some pretty cool fun games lined up...and well....they mostly wanna play xbox and eat junk food! I'm sure they'll be up MOST of the night!

A visit to the ER

You know how I've been talking about this "hives" issue with Christopher? Sunday was a BAD day! He woke up with them....they were quickly spreading...and by the afternoon he was covered even though I had already given him Benedryl (twice). I called the "on call" doctor and he prescribed Prednisone, he actually called it in. He then slept for a few hours....and me going in there like every 5 minutes making sure he was still breathing. By 6pm I finally HAD IT! Nothing I was doing was working, so off to the ER we went!

It took almost 2 hours before we were even called into triage. The poor lady sitting next to us, I think she was scared. It took her about an hour to finally ask "what are all those red dots?". LOLOL I kindly told her to not worry..they weren't contagious, or at least...I didn't have it yet, and my hands had been touching  him ALL day! When we were finally called to triage, they took one look at him, called in a doctor, were told to hook him up on an IV and get him in a bed. I guess they didn't want us back out in the waiting room scarying everyone! No...thats not it. Get this..turns out its NOT hives! Well this time it's not! He has a viral infection, like a cold or flu and his body is attacking it and this is what is happening! My doc explains it as uptight person who you walk up to and jab and they freak out! Well his immune system is freaking out! Poor guy!It has a fancy name....I'll spare you the details on that...because the pictures they show of it are just icky. His is bad...but NOT even as drastic as what I've seen on the web. Basically he caught a bug, most likely at school maybe a week or so ago. Everyone at school is sick right now! You can sorta see the rash in the picture above...that is after we came home. Obviously that is where his IV was. He's out of school until Thursday. Not because he's contagious....mostly because the school might think he is...and because he really just needs his body to rest and the meds make him sleepy. I just thought I'd fill ya'll in since I talk about it all the time. Let's hope it goes away quickly and NEVER comes back! I've NEVER seen anything like it!

A little Humor....

When I told you I was playing racquetball with my friends...I wasn't joking!

Nice eye wear huh? I told my friends that I'm gonna go get the ones that have the elastic back....cause they kept slipping down....and I'm also going to get a headband and maybe some leg warmers!!! And when I get skinny...maybe I'll even wear some tight spandex!!! NOT! LOLOL Off to bed for me now! I'm really tired and REALLY SORE! You wouldn't think it would make you sore...but OMGosh..it does!

Moving on.....

Christmas is over...and we are moving on.....it's only the day after and well.....my trees are down...everything is packed up and it's already up in the attic! Sad huh? But....that's what I felt like doing this morning....sick and all...yes...I'm sick! My lil one has kindly shared his cough with me. That's what I get though for loving on him all the time! So....let me show you the HIT of Christmas morning!

My mom bought RockBank for Christopher!!! I've been hiding this since the day after Thanksgiving when we went shopping. We were so excited to find it...it was the last one and I thought it would totally sell out...LOLOL but they didn't....I've seen them stocked everywhere since that day. But it made our day...so we just remember that feeling! Christopher got alot of GREAT things! Remember how I told you how picky he is with his clothing? Well Grandma (Marks mom) and Papa (my dad) both gave him Tilly's gift cards! YooooHooo!!! That's an expensive clothing store and I cannot afford!!!! So.....since C got lots for his Xbox...I decided to turn the guest room into a GAME ROOM!!!!! His bedroom is just getting way to crowded...and this RockBand has a drum pad...and guitar...and a microphone! Last night...all 3 of us were Rockin Out! I can't carry a tune...but I only failed once...or twice! LOL Since I said we were moving on.....C and I painted the Game Room today! Looks like he is doing most of the work though!

How's the color? I really like it! I was going for a color we had at our previous house...and I thought I was dead on...but when Mark got home...he said it was like 8 shades lighter than what I was painting! OOOPPSS! Well I like it! And it's going down the hallway and out through the rest of the house too! I am ready for a neutral color in my house...and the yellow in the family room has GOT TO GO!

Okay...we're tired....and I'm off to bed..plus C is really teasing me right now...he says ya'll don't want to hear about my life....he says I'm being "chatty". LOLOL

My BFF Missy made me this cute graphic....she must've sent it to me last night after I went to bed. I went to bed early because I wanted to still go to bed at 37 and not 38 LOLOLOL Yikes...I can't beleive I'm 38!!!!!

I am late on pulling my name for the fabric. I didn't forget....a good distraction is here...MY MOM! And I've been talking about it since Sunday...even printed the names....so this morning....that was my first priority! My mom pulled  HEATHER ROUGEOT!!!! Congrats! So did anyone watch the Bachelor last night? OMG!!!! What is up with that????

And I'm so excited...my mom and I are going to Rosies Calico Cupboard on Friday! Woo Hoo!!! Loads and Loads of fabric! I'm going with a budget though....and I'm not allowing myself to buy anything more than a 1/2 yard of any print! Variety!

I won!!!! Yes!!! You heard right.....I WON!!!!!! Last night we had 3 photo contest's in our class.....because we had just recently been on a optional class field trip...so we were to submit 2 from that and then our normal Pixel River submition! My lil one comes home today.....I can't wait!!!!! I have missed him terribly! The house is too quiet without him!

Had fun scrappin last night.....2 gals were coming over....one couldn't make it...turns out her hubby somehow deleted years of photos on her computer...and she was very upset...poor thing..I'd be upset too! And did you think my BYOB meant booze? LOLOL it mean "bring your own book". LOLOLOL

First time away......

I'm so sad....boo hoo! My sons 5th grade class is off to camp today! And I couldn't go! They will be gone until Friday...and I have class on Thursday....and I have a ton of homework...so I sent him off without me! This is the first time he's been away from home...without family! I think it's harder on me...than on him!

geesh...I took alot of pictures..and that's not even half of them! Yes..I'm one of those moms! Can you tell he was annoyed with me on the bus. I asked the driver if I could hop on and takes some pics. He was VERY annoyed to see me walking down the isle! He'll get over it! So...what am I gonna do with my free time???? work! LOLOL I have some orders to finish up today...then tomorrow my friend Sandi from my photo class is helping me with some photoshop homework..then a couple of my friends are coming over tomorrow night after my class and we are gonna scrapbook! Hubby won't be home either!!!!! It's a party!BYOB!

Thanks for looking girls!!! This is my life...my one and only lil one...and this kind of stuff is a big deal to me! I already miss him........I told him I was gonna sleep in his bed while he was gone! LOLOL

It was fun.......

For those of you waiting....I'm so sorry I didn't post my costume pictures yesterday!We stayed the night over at my friends (where the party was). I'm a drinky even one drink...no driving kinda person! I didn't drink that much....most in part to still remember how I felt after last years Halloween Party. I wasn't bloggin back then at this time. But I'll let you know..it was horrible! I thought I was dying. I was talked into Captian Morgan shots with a sugared up lime chaser. Yeah..well it felt sooooo good that I did about 5 or 6 of them INCLUDING all the Watermelon Smirnoff's I was drinking. I didn't feel drunk...that is until 6:00 in the morning when I woke up dizzy...and then barfed ALL day long! So with that still fresh in my mind....even a year old....I was a good girl! But I was gone all day long...I was home long enough to shower up and then we headed back out and took the kiddos to a corn maze. There was supposed to be pumpkin bowling too..but somehow we forgot to do it! bummer...that would have been fun! Here is C from yesterday at the corn maze.

And darn it..the store wasn't very crowded! Then while we were in the liquor aisle 2 YOUNG gals in their costumes came walking down....and woo hoo....they had been shopping at Hot Topic for their costumes! Back in the days I tell ya! So anyway...they were laughing and said..."wow...you girls look like you're all from the 80's!" LOLOL Too funny! We had alot of fun!

Let's Play Dress up!

I get to dress up today! Woo Hoo! What fun! I'm going to be Madonna! LOL Christopher is going to be Billy Idol! I know...I've probably told you all this before! It's an 80's themed party! I tried on my costume the other day...and I about pee'd my pants! FLASH BACK!!!! I even called my mom to tell her to wait till she see's the pictures...and she said she can already imagine what I will look like...cause HELLO!!!! She's the one who had to watch me walk out the door dressed like that for school every day! Here's a sneaky peaky of what C and I will be wearing!

Missy went to a Costume Party last night...OMG...she sent me her pictures...so FREAKIN CUTE! I can't wait for her to show them to you all! And today she's been bloggin a year!!! Me too really...but I started mine all wrong...and so I had to restart, so my blog birthday party will be on  Nov. 9th! Dang...I did that good! My birthday and my blog birthday in the same month! I get to celebrate twice!
