really...what's my problem!!!!!!

Yes, I know it's been a long time. Like a month or so! really lame on my part!!! but I have good news...something alot of people have been asking for....my bff Missy Ballance aka Little Missy Primitives Ballerina Pattern!!!!!

It's available on my website now as an ePattern.....it's a start...and soon I will have ALL of them! You hear that Missy...I want ALL of them!!!! I guess I need to drive up there and raid her computer! ha ha!

I've had a birthday since I lasted posted. What a wonderful birthday it was!!! probably one of the best ever!!!!! the boys made me cupcakes!

My mom is here...she came in just before my birthday. We've been having a blast!

I've missed a couple weeks! Bad blogger I am! No excuses! just lame on my end! I even had listed some Christmas dolls, and happily, they are gone. But I'm soooo sorry that I didn't share sooner. Kinda silly to post them now, being that they are sold, but there is still one left, and she's actually my favorite! you can find her HERE.....

And I just listed this cutie this morning! Since it's Halloween, we can just say she's dressed up as a Ballerina!

Speaking of Halloween, it's just NOT the same when your kiddo is done with it! Thinks he's too old for it. blah blah blah! He wouldn't even carve the pumpkin I bought for him this weekend! This is what he did while the Campbell boys carved theirs.

First he just sat there watching. and making smart ass comments. Teenager know it all! ugh! Then he got bored with that and moved himself over near the couch so he could see the tv but have his phone plugged in too...and decided to prop his feet up over the couch. nice.

Christopher has been in the sports
conditioning class for Freshman baseball, and they arranged to have 2 games, this past weekend and the weekend before. I LOVE watching him play ball!

Can I tell you how much my son is growing up? It's crazy!!!! He's sooo handsome!

It was that time of the year again...TRUCK SHOW in Irwindale! Up bright and early Sunday morning....spending the day with friends and having a great time! Took this cute picture of the boys....

 
off to bed now. Time to start more dolls in the morning. I think I'm done with Halloween..the LAST of them are on my website now, I'm moving on to Christmas!

remembering 9-11

 
My son was 4 when 9-11 happened. He drew this picture. I have it saved in plastic. I'm so glad I kept it. He was young, he didn't actually understand everything that was happening, but those images were plastered in his mind because it was on tv, and I was glued to it. Sadly, I remember it like it was yesterday. I remembered being scared. I rememeber not wanting to take my son to preschool. Not wanting to leave the house. Not wanting him out of my sight. Everyone was putting flags on their cars, real flags, big flags, on big poles on the back of their pickups. Flag stickers on back windows. Flags on houses. And I remember even seeing people paint thier garage doors as flags. I can't beleive it's been 10 years.

getting back into routine.......

 

First off....let me say that I cannot beleive that I have a freshman in high school. I am still in shock. He LOVES it! I was so happy to hear that. He said it was really "cool" getting a ride from a senior and getting to park in the "senior parking lot" and they were all nice to him and seeing them and knowing them around campus. My nephew thinks it's wierd to see his lil cousin on campus with him. But so far...it's all good!

So now that he's not home fighting me anymore...because thats all we seem to do anymore...ha ha....I'm trying to get back into my routine. Finished up some dolls today. And I did a lil work on my website, in the dolls pages...there are now (2) pages so just click on the arrow at the bottom. First page will take you to 2nd page and 2nd page will bring you back to first. Also since I made another doll page, I had to combine my "about me" and "order info" into one page. I'm only allowed 5 to keep my price down. So please let me know if you see anything wrong!!!!

My baby started high school today. His cousin is a senior this year....so he came and gave him a ride to school.
 
 
 I hope everything is going ok. He didn't seem that nervous. I think I was more nervous than him!

hoping to get back in the groove of things. First...off to treat myself to a Starbucks!

i'm a stranger......

yes, i feel like a stranger! it's been a bit since i've blogged. I swear it's because of facebook!!!! I took a road trip last week. Christopher was with his dad so I jumped in the big rig with yummy boyfriend.

I logged a few days...starring at this......and the cute driver too.......

 
 
I had the pleasure of being on this curvy road 3 times! It was the 29 going to Clearlake. not fun! especially in a big rig! Pretty though.

and bummer...on the way home I was this close to Missy...going through Sacramento, I know she doesn't live there anymore.....but Dixon isn't that much further! But we couldn't stop!!!! that sucked! But loads had to be delivered.......

 
took the boys to Scandia. They rode the very slow race cars, the bumper boats in which they got soaked because a girl thought Christopher and Matthew were cute so she was AFTER them squirting them continuously and then they played some golf. Then some video games. They had a great time!

in need of fabric......

ha ha! apparently i must NEED new fabric...because I just realized while updating my website that I have repeated using 3 different fabrics. So don't let your eyes worry you, yes you will see it! duh! I feel stupid. I do have to say that they must be my favorites! that happens. ohwell.

Summer just started. And I'm ready for it to be over. Having a teenager in the house and no money is no fun! And did you know that he knows EVERYTHING? so if you have any questions that you feel you need answered, just shoot them over to me, I'm sure he'll know the answer. ha ha! whatever! it's driving me crazy!!!!! I took him over to a field where some kids had made some jumps and took these pictures of him.

 
 
 
now he's building jumps in our yard....keeps him busy......but makes him dirty.

I know he's only 14, but I'm trying to give him some driving lessons....thankfully our yard is big and Bruce has a rock track that he drives the truck on, so we use that. We tried this a few months back and Christopher about gave me whiplash. LOL! but this time he was really good. i mean really good!!!!!

 
Time to start keeping my eye out for a good deal on a truck...thats what he wants. I don't want him driving my car when he turns 16. no thank you!

stay cool everyone! It was 102 here yesterday...feels a lil bit cooler today because there is a breeze. thankfully.

Only one week of school left. yup! actually only 4 more days as they get out on Thursday. And today, the 8th graders all hopped on busses....LOTS of busses and went to Magic Mountain. How fun! I didn't go. I knew he'd have more fun without me. I'm not cool right now. He won't even let me take pictures. In fact, I thought it was so cool, all the busses lined up in front of the school...and he wouldn't even let me get out and take a picture! So I did anyway, after he got out! LOL

 
 
they are on their way home now. I can't wait to hear all the stories!!!! I can't imagine what it looks like on the roads...a convoy of all the busses. Christopher said all the kids were calling it a "train".

To keep my mind off of worrying about him today, I worked. I had started them on Wednesday, just now getting to finishing them. And all are up and ready on my website!

I was asked to hold the polka dot one until a certain date.....so I did. And a request for the the Easter one and hold her too. So I made her. I don't mind special orders. Then that date came....and I was asked to hold both a little longer. okay. I understand. And now that time has come and gone and un-answered emails. So........I'm assuming that the potential buyer has changed her mind. so sad. Sad for the Annies. Sad for me. But lucky for anyone that maybe wants them, because I just listed them on my website for $50.00 for BOTH! UPDATE!!! Sold! Thanks Kathryn!!!!

Can you help me out? Baby needs new shoes. just kidding! wait...maybe I'm not. Car really needs gas! ha ha! I'm laughing at myself now!

Christophers birthday is coming up...next Monday. eek! I bought some stuff for him already, but I know he wanted a new hat and the one he wanted I can't find, so I took him shopping (early) to pick out one...and some new shoes too!

 
LOVE it when they get older and now it's "cool" to get clothes!!!!! That's my nephew in the picture too...he came along.
