really...what's my problem!!!!!!

Yes, I know it's been a long time. Like a month or so! really lame on my part!!! but I have good news...something alot of people have been asking for....my bff Missy Ballance aka Little Missy Primitives Ballerina Pattern!!!!!

It's available on my website now as an ePattern.....it's a start...and soon I will have ALL of them! You hear that Missy...I want ALL of them!!!! I guess I need to drive up there and raid her computer! ha ha!

I've had a birthday since I lasted posted. What a wonderful birthday it was!!! probably one of the best ever!!!!! the boys made me cupcakes!

My mom is here...she came in just before my birthday. We've been having a blast!

My mommy is on her way right now via car to California! I am sooo excited! She has her cute lil doggy Gracie with her too! They should be here sometime on Wednesday!

I've been quiet lately. I'm sorry. I've been trying to work. But I keep getting sidetracked. Kids are still on vacation here. good ole California furlough days. You might think it's great, sleeping in and all, but really, no, I'm ready for them to go back to school. They are bored. Even with all the xmas gifts. bored. trashing my house. bored. messy rooms. bored. whats for dinner? bored. I tell my son that boring people are bored. I'm never bored. NEVER! cabin fever...yes! but bored, no! I have too much stuff to do around here to be bored. Oh and did you hear we had snow? yes! so we had one exciting day of play outside since they couldn't play outside before because of ALL the rain! Check out the nice snow gloves! tee hee! yeah, we're Californians all right!

I have been getting lots of emails asking for Valentines dolls! OMG!!! I totally LOVE ya'll! you're making me feel so special! I'm working on some now, and I just put a few new things on my website today.

 
 
Alrighty...back to work! I need to coffee stain some legs and get some dresses made! Hoping to have more on my website tomorrow.....and I'm thinking of updating my Etsy page. Oh speaking of Etsy....my BFF Missy is back to sewing! OMG.....I'm loving it! I have missed my crafty talk and time with her sooo much! She's been cranking out the stuff and she's been listing alot of stuff on her Etsy page.....check her out HERE! I love you Missy and I missy you very much!

My famous friend!!!!!!

Can you believe it? First Missy was on TV....now her daughter Daisy made the cover of a magazine!!!! Isn't that just the cutest picture??? Both of Missy's daughters are just beautiful!!! And all 3 of them are featured inside the magazine so if you are in Sacramento...MAKE SURE TO PICK UP your copy!

It all started when Missy and her friend Tammy had a photo shoot a few weeks back with Alexandra Frankel.  The photo shoot for for "Crafty Mamma's in the Sacramento Craft Mafia". Missy told me all about the Alexandra Frankel and shared her blog with me...and since then I check out her blog on a daily basis (being the wanna be photographer that I am).  I LOVE her work! I would love to spend a day with her!!!

Time Flies when you're having fun.....

And now Missy has flown away....boo hoo!!!! But I have lots of pictures to show you!!! This could be a long post...just warning you ahead of time! We had so much fun!!! Shopping...and shopping...and well....shopping!

Here is Missy just off the plane!

C and I were waiting.....and waiting....I was so excited to finally see her coming down the escalater. When I spotted her...I started screaming..."there she is!!!!".  And look how excited she was too!!!

So after we picked up her luggage...we went shopping. Poor C! He was a trooper though. Then we rushed home....because I had made plans for us to meet up with my local girlfriends for dinner! Since I'm always talking about Missy to them....and then always talking about them to Missy...I thought it would be fun for them to meet up! We had a blast! We didn't stay out too late...as we wanted to get up really early and head out and do more shopping....LOL...I took her to Rosie's since I'm always talking about it....and we spent money there....then we had signed up for one of Candice Carpenter's classes to make a "Easter Banner", so we made our way over to Ever After Scrapbooks to shop a little before the class started. What an awesome store that was. Biggest scrapbook store I've ever been in! We spent more money there.......and then finally it was time for the class....and finally we get to meet Candice!!!!! OMG...what a sweet gal she is!!!!

We had so much fun making the banners...and they turned out so cute! I decided to spell out my name so I could hang it in my sewing room.

Missy spelled out "girls" so she could hang it in her girls room! too cute!

Isn't Missy so darn stinkin cute!!!! LOVE those glasses!!! We took turns wearing them.....and on Sunday....it was my turn to get pictures with them! They said I wasn't smiling enough....so I'll share my cheesy smile too! LOL

okay..back to normal life now! We've been out of school for a week.....and the "sleeping in" was nice...but it's over now...and back to getting up early. YUCK! I stay up way too late to get up early! and Missy...I already MISSY YOU! I'm off to bed now....maybe I'll watch a little bit of my recorded "Big Brother" before I head off to bed. Night Night!

Happy Birthday to my BFF!

So I fell asleep Wednesday night...sitting in my comfy chair stuffing dolls.....the cat jumped off my lap and it woke me up and I decided to pick my lazy self up and go to bed. But I had to turn the computer off first....so I figured since I was up and in here I would check my email. Then I realized that it was like 2 minutes until Missy's actual Birthday!!!!! So I had to stay up just so I could blog about it! Why I wanted to hurry up and blog about you ask??? Well because EVERY year we've had fun by posting a funny pic of each other on our birthdays....and it started way before blogs came around. Missy started it! She was nice to me this past year....and I'll be nice to her NOW after I took the FUNNY picture off that I had to remove because I didn't want C to get upset! If you didn't get a chance to see it...I'm sorry.... but this one is one of my favorites....isn't she soooooooo cute!!!!!!

This was a lovely conversation I had with Missy tonight.......I thought you might find it humorous! the end.........but.....let me tell you about the phone idea!!!! She was wishing we lived closer so we could have walkie talkies to chat late at night without ringing and waking up the family. So I said....."why don't they have home phones that vibrate like cell phones do?". Or do they? I've seen some pretty spiffy phones but I've never looked at the details! So wouldn't that be cool?

Cake for everyone!!!

Yup!!!! I'm sharing cake!!! Which is rare for me...because I LOVE cake and am a "cake hog". The reason we had cake tonight is because it was hubbies 40th birthday! Woo Hoo big 40! I bbq'd filets...big fat baked potatoes loaded with butter and sour cream and then baked beans. Oh and a salad too. Yummy!

Also.....more celebration.....my best friend Missy won the Softies Award!!!!! This is the bear that won! What a cutie!!! I voted for her...did you?
