Gloomy Rainy Day

I love gloomy rainy days! They are great..stay inside work days! I tried to take a picture of this gloomy day...but my yard looks really yucky....and I just couldn't seem to capture a pretty picture.

Thank you everyone for all your birthday wishes! We met my dad for lunch at Applebees. Christopher took a picture of my mom, dad and I. Not my favorite picture...because of me....don't know whats up with my bangs...but it's the best of what I had to choose from! I HATE getting my picture taken!

And woo hoo...whats this???? is this my chocolate swap? Yes...it arrived on my birthday! How cool was that? My swap parnter was Anna. She is just the sweetest EVER!

Did anyone attempt the "After Thanksgiving Day" sales? My mom and I were heading down to Rosie's (an awesome quilt shop in San Diego) and I decided to get up sorta early...but NOT crack of dawn early and hit Staples. They had the CF cards I use for my camera on sale....really good sale...and also the lil passport external hard drive that I wanted for school. I was only an hour behind the opening...and nothing to be found! I was a little ticked...because one of the items was advertised as a "Friday & Saturday" deal....and to have NONE with only being open an hour just ticked me off! I muttered...."how many did you stock...10!" and walked straight out the door! Wasn't a good way to start the day off! So we headed to Rosies......and I was a good girl!!!!!! I only spend $40.00!!! Here's my loot!

Then mom and I headed back to Temecula...we were meeting her cousin for dinner...so we did some shopping..and I stopped at another staples....way past the doorbuster deal time though...and they were SO NICE!!! I asked, just out of curiosity and they looked in the back...found what I wanted...and gave it to me at the DOOR BUSTER PRICE even though it ended hours before! Now that's customer service!!!!!

Now we get to the part that you're really here for! I have finally updated my website! I had sooo many sold out dolls!! I am soooo sorry! This morning I put some new ones on! Hop over and take a peek!

What is today??????

My BFF Missy made me this cute graphic....she must've sent it to me last night after I went to bed. I went to bed early because I wanted to still go to bed at 37 and not 38 LOLOLOL Yikes...I can't beleive I'm 38!!!!!

I am late on pulling my name for the fabric. I didn't forget....a good distraction is here...MY MOM! And I've been talking about it since Sunday...even printed the names....so this morning....that was my first priority! My mom pulled  HEATHER ROUGEOT!!!! Congrats! You're the winner of the fabric bundle! Please email me with your mailing addy so I can get this right out to you! And remember what ya'll were guessing on? It was vintage glitter!

So did anyone watch the Bachelor last night? OMG!!!! What is up with that????

And I'm so excited...my mom and I are going to Rosies Calico Cupboard on Friday! Woo Hoo!!! Loads and Loads of fabric! I'm going with a budget though....and I'm not allowing myself to buy anything more than a 1/2 yard of any print! Variety!

Yippee!!! I won!

I won!!!! Yes!!! You heard right.....I WON!!!!!! Last night we had 3 photo contest's in our class.....because we had just recently been on a optional class field trip...so we were to submit 2 from that and then our normal Pixel River submition! My lil one comes home today.....I can't wait!!!!! I have missed him terribly! The house is too quiet without him!

Had fun scrappin last night.....2 gals were coming over....one couldn't make it...turns out her hubby somehow deleted years of photos on her computer...and she was very upset...poor thing..I'd be upset too! And did you think my BYOB meant booze? LOLOL it mean "bring your own book". LOLOLOL

Finishing up some dolls...and they will be on my site ASAP!

First time away......

I'm so sad....boo hoo! My sons 5th grade class is off to camp today! And I couldn't go! They will be gone until Friday...and I have class on Thursday....and I have a ton of homework...so I sent him off without me! This is the first time he's been away from home...without family! I think it's harder on me...than on him!

geesh...I took alot of pictures..and that's not even half of them! Yes..I'm one of those moms! Can you tell he was annoyed with me on the bus. I asked the driver if I could hop on and takes some pics. He was VERY annoyed to see me walking down the isle! He'll get over it! So...what am I gonna do with my free time???? work! LOLOL I have some orders to finish up today...then tomorrow my friend Sandi from my photo class is helping me with some photoshop homework..then a couple of my friends are coming over tomorrow night after my class and we are gonna scrapbook! Hubby won't be home either!!!!! It's a party!BYOB!

Thanks for looking girls!!! This is my life...my one and only lil one...and this kind of stuff is a big deal to me! I already miss him........I told him I was gonna sleep in his bed while he was gone! LOLOL

Happy 1st "Blog" Birthday...to me.....

yes...it's true....I've been "bloggin" for a year now...is that even a word? Bloggin? I think Missy teased me about that word way back early on in the year. It works for me! So are we having a party? well...no...unless you call mowing the lawn and pulling weeds a party! yuck! Are we having a give away? Of course!!!!! How about this cute bundle of fabric....from my FAVORITE prints!

 

As I was putting them together....I thought they'd be so cute in a quilt. But check out the picture....isn't this a cool picture? Yesterday we had product studio day in my photography class and since I knew I was going to post a picture of these...I bundled them up and took them.

And.....I got some mail today! Yippee!!! As I went to open it...I noticed that it said on the back "do not open until your birthday! OOPPSSS I "almost" opened it! So I looked at the sender and didn't recongnize it...then I started thumbing through some of my past orders thinking a customer sent me something...and then I called Missy and said "you gotta help me". You see...I wanted to post about it...but I didn't want to hurt any feelings not knowing who it was. And I was right...I have no idea who it was and I could search through orders way back to 2001 and still not know! LOLOL Cause Missy had it ordered and sent to me! What a friend!!!!! And then I said..well...it's my birthday today...my blog birthday!!! How perfect was that! And I knew saying that, she would let me open it because Missy CAN NOT stand surprises or suspense and not knowing! She has no patience at all! And normally I would have waited...since I rarely get anything on my birthday...but shoot....I decided to open it and OMG....LOOK!!!

okay girls...it's the strap that she got me..not the camera! Isn't it so darn freaking cute! We saw these a few months back and I wanted one...I HATE the Canon one...it's HOT on my neck! So you see...Missy listens to me!!!!! Thanks Missy....I LOVE Ya!!!!!!

K...off to celebrate some more by now going to the grocery store....and I'm sure I have grass in my hair from mowing the lawn...but who cares....who do I have to impress right?
