and here comes November!

oh geesh...November is already here!!! but I LOVE November! It's my birthday month!!!! But can I start counting backwards????? LOLOL getting too old!

Time for Glitter & Grunge to update! I put the cutest Princess Tea Party Annie on there! Here are some close ups of her.

So Halloween is behind us now. C decided that he wanted to trick or treat. So we went over to my friend Vanessa's...and her hubby went and got us all Pizza...then I took C and her son Weston out treating. Tons of kiddos everywhere...and C and Weston kept running into kids they knew from school...and I just LOVE that! I kept asking..."who's that?" Nosey mom I am huh? C was Billy Idol again ....but at school he was a bum/hobo. Here is a pic of C and his friend River who was Johnny Appleseed.

And C was working the Haunted House .....he was in there ALL day! Here is C with his friends Aiden and Connor.

I went through the haunted house.......very scary! Kids screaming....ALL DAY! I don't know how they all didn't have headaches...but C and his friend Connor did complain tonight that they had sore throats! LOL

I will be gone all day Thursday on a Photography field trip...so if I don't get right back on your emails....I will on Friday.

This is our pumpkin!!!! Pretty cool huh? Okay everyone with kiddos...stay safe! I HATE driving on Halloween night! Not sure if we are trick or treating....C hasn't made up his mind. It's either that or Pizza with some friends.

I spent tonight getting another costume together for C.... he needs something scary but not too scary. He's working the "Haunted House" at school so they have to be spooky...but...they are not allowed to be spooky for school. So which is it? I'm not sending him with 2 costumes! UGH! So he's going as a bum....or hobo...whatever you wanna call it! I'll take pics in the morning.  oh!!!!! and I was working on a few things for Glitter and Grunge. Don't forget..that updates Thursday!!!!

It was fun.......

For those of you waiting....I'm so sorry I didn't post my costume pictures yesterday!We stayed the night over at my friends (where the party was). I'm a drinky even one drink...no driving kinda person! I didn't drink that much....most in part to still remember how I felt after last years Halloween Party. I wasn't bloggin back then at this time. But I'll let you know..it was horrible! I thought I was dying. I was talked into Captian Morgan shots with a sugared up lime chaser. Yeah..well it felt sooooo good that I did about 5 or 6 of them INCLUDING all the Watermelon Smirnoff's I was drinking. I didn't feel drunk...that is until 6:00 in the morning when I woke up dizzy...and then barfed ALL day long! So with that still fresh in my mind....even a year old....I was a good girl! But I was gone all day long...I was home long enough to shower up and then we headed back out and took the kiddos to a corn maze. There was supposed to be pumpkin bowling too..but somehow we forgot to do it! bummer...that would have been fun! Here is C from yesterday at the corn maze.

oh geez...I can't beleive I'm showing you these pictures!!!! FLASH BACK to the 80's. I used to dress just like that!!!! What was I thinking? LOL It was sooooo funny because then someone decided they need us to run to the grocery store.....so 7 of us girls piled in Vanessa's van and off we went!

And darn it..the store wasn't very crowded! Then while we were in the liquor aisle 2 YOUNG gals in their costumes came walking down....and woo hoo....they had been shopping at Hot Topic for their costumes! Back in the days I tell ya! So anyway...they were laughing and said..."wow...you girls look like you're all from the 80's!" LOLOL Too funny! We had alot of fun!

Let's Play Dress up!

I get to dress up today! Woo Hoo! What fun! I'm going to be Madonna! LOL Christopher is going to be Billy Idol! I know...I've probably told you all this before! It's an 80's themed party! I tried on my costume the other day...and I about pee'd my pants! FLASH BACK!!!! I even called my mom to tell her to wait till she see's the pictures...and she said she can already imagine what I will look like...cause HELLO!!!! She's the one who had to watch me walk out the door dressed like that for school every day! Here's a sneaky peaky of what C and I will be wearing!

Missy went to a Costume Party last night...OMG...she sent me her pictures...so FREAKIN CUTE! I can't wait for her to show them to you all! And today she's been bloggin a year!!! Me too really...but I started mine all wrong...and so I had to restart, so my blog birthday party will be on  Nov. 9th! Dang...I did that good! My birthday and my blog birthday in the same month! I get to celebrate twice!

Sharon tagged me last night! I shouldn't do it...because she flaked on my last tag to her...but honestly...I don't even remember what I tagged her with! LOLOL So I'll do hers....because she's soooo sweet!

It only took a week!

Well that was a long wait for me! And then a little stress last night when neither my old site or my new site was not up! I was freaking out! Literally!!!! But the "new" Raggedy Old Annies is up! YIPPEE!!! A fresh new look...or as Missy would say...I've changed my outfit! That's cute! so....go peek when you get a chance!!!!

Well if you haven't already heard...California is a big mess right now! Mostly Southern California. We are okay where we are at....but we did have some major winds go through here all day on Sunday...so bad that they up rooted the tree in front of my mother in laws house.

I'm happy that it didn't hit her house....flopped right over on the driveway...thank gosh her car was in the garage! We are happy to see the tree go though!!! We hated it! It was NEVER trimmed enough...and I could NEVER park my car in her driveway because my van couldn't fit under it. And she hated all the pine needles she always had to clean up!

Then there are all the fire messes! They are saying several are ARSON! Sick people!!!!! As my friend Vanessa said....Santa Ana winds for pyros is like candy for a kid! It is insane! So many have lost their houses! I have been just glued to the TV watching the devastation! I needed to go to Escondido yesterday and left early in the morning after dropping C off at school, so I never saw the news...and well...I NEVER made it there...as the freeway was closed! And today, my husband has a 3 day meeting to be at in San Diego...and I don't know why it is not cancelled. He just heard the freeway is open again, so he and his boss have headed out...I wonder if they will make it!

I'm off thrifting today....in search of costume stuff for C and me! Sit down...don't laugh..I'm going as Madonna...and C is going as Billy Idol! LOLOL The party we are going to is an 80's theme! Right up my alley! I was a "madonna" wannabe! I just wish I would have kept all my bracelets! LOLOL geesh them darn things are expensive!!!! I'll be sure to share pics!!! The party is Saturday night!

Almost a winner......

Every week in my photography class, we have a contest. Each of us have to submit one image and the instructor views them all via his computer and then picks a winner and puts it up on the big screen. And to make it a little more challenging...that image has to be taken in the week before class. Makes you get out there and shoot! I've yet to win. I still haven't won. I'm okay with this...as there is some TALENT in the room! But today...the instructor said it was tough..and that there was a tie between 5 of them...all being different...and that because he felt it was so close...he was going to put all 5 up on the screen as "thumbnails" so we could see who the 5 were. OMG!!! Mine was there!!!! In the end he picked a partial "nude" shot..... so there you have it...BOOBIES win! Sorry...I won't be takin those kind of shots! I'll stick to my kiddo...which is what I submitted!

See...Christopher looks upset that he didn't win! LOLOL This picture was taken last Sunday. We went to this AWESOME Pumpkin Patch in Yucaipa! It was sooo crowded. We went with a couple (his teachers from 3rd and 4th grade) and they have 2 lil ones. We were in the pumpkin patch for quite a while pickin pumpkins...and the lil ones loved it...but I think he was done with it! He wanted to go over where all the "carnival" type stuff was! So yeah...I'm thinking he's looking a little irritated! LOL

So I hope you do not mind me sharing....I'm really happy!

Last Call for Witchy Poo

I had an order for a pink one...and I always make an extra  hoping that one will stain just like the one they ordered from...so here is the one that I didn't mail out. And...here are the 2 Princess Annie's I was telling you about too! They will be on my "new" site when it comes up! I am trying to patiently wait.....I am not a patient person...I'm the kinda gal who wakes up one days and wants it...and it has to happen that day! But...I am not a spur of the moment kinda gal that just hops in the car and heads to Vegas. How can I be one that is spur of the moment about cutting my hair off but not spur of the moment to head out for some fun? I'm strange! LOL

We are off to baseball practice and it looks like it's going to be a cold one tonight. YIPEEE cold!

It is time for a change!

Yes...time for a change....I am MOVING! Yes....true...moving....my website that is! I wish I was really moving out of my neighborhood...but that won't happen now for a couple years! So.....I haven't actually "moved in" yet...the transfer is in process as I blog about it! It could be up to 7 days....so you'll still see my old website. I was very hesitant about this....I've been with CS since 2001...and I realized tonight that I have been with them longer than I have EVER lived in one home! That's sick huh? I move  too much! But it's a done deal now....and I am ready for a change! I'm hoping that I'll be happy with it! I have a couple new dolls to put on...but I don't want to put them on my "old" website...because poof...it could be gone tomorrow...but they are ready to go on my new website! So I thought I'd share pics on here....so that you can see I'm actually working over here...and not just sittin around watching soap operas and eating bom boms! Wait..do they even have bom boms anymore? I think they might have been replaced by "DIBS" which are just as equally as good...just smaller! LOVE the Dibs commercial where the lil girl is sitting on the top of her dads shoulder dripping an ice cream cone all over his head! ROFLOL!!!! Okay..back to dolls....here they are!!! And I am working on 2 cute princess like ones right now! They just need hair! I'll finish them up in the morning.

I received a package........

Yup..that's right...I received a package on my doorstep!!!! It was from Sharon.....my Owl Swap! She mailed it on Monday..and I received it on Tuesday (yes I know I'm posting about it a day late)! Dang....so much for the post office....hhhmmmm what are UPS rates? LOL Anyway....OMG!!! She is AWESOME! I just love that gal!!!! She spoiled me!

My mom is coming in a month or so and I am gonna have to hide that Owl Quilt from her!!!! It is sooo darn cute...and OMG Sharons work is fabulous!!! Perfectionist??? HMMMM!!!!! And how did she know that I have a thing for purses!!! Did someone tell her? I LOVE purses...and I've made quite a few myself...but none of them compare to hers!!! And the fabric choices!!! OMG!!! Could I have a yard of each one??? I hope she got those at Rosie's so I can get them when I go down there in November! And she packed the purse with goodies!!!! She's so sweet!! So loving and so thoughtful! What a wonderful friend!!!!

And guess what I did today...I made my first ScrapBook page EVER!!!!!! I don't count the stupid one I did back right after my son was born! It was horrible....cropped all my pics oval and taped them on the white page...and well.....all those pics have fallen out! LOL So I bought this really pretty chocolate brown 12x12 album from Target...and the pages are covered with clear (my old one wasn't). I saw this really cute layout in that "Creating Keepsakes" issue I mentioned a few post's back....and I had to do it! You see...my son looks just like the hubby did as a lil toddler....so I made a page to reflect that! Now..these are old pics...of both hubby and my son...my son is 10 now..and those are from when he was 2....and the pics are 30 years apart...as they are 30 years apart!

I am in love with it...so in love that I've already done 3 more! LOL And...I went in to drop some more dolls off at my local ScrapBook Store...and darn it...they got new stuff in! TROUBLE!!!!!

of course...I bought more than what's pictured...but shhhhh...don't tell!

Sorry no post about dolls today....I just finished up some orders and mailed them out...and I have a couple more orders to go. I need to thank Candice.....she posted on her blog about my Witchy Poo Annie and I received several orders because of her!!! Thanks so much Candice!!! So very sweet of you! If you are into scrapping.....you NEED to visit her blog! Her page layouts are to die for!!! If she ever comes to Hemet I'm there! Okay..back to the dolls.... I do have 3 new ones to put on...hoping to do that tomorrow....and I am working on some others! I'll let you know when I put them on!

This was a lovely conversation I had with Missy tonight.......I thought you might find it humorous!
