Another Month gone.....

I cannot believe it....September is over! You know...time just flies as you get older!

So...I think it's time for another Give Away! How about one of my owls? Hoot Hoot!!!! Just shoot (hoot) me a comment and I'll add your name for the drawing! I love doing these!!!! My Owl Swap has been received!!

Okay....I was VERY late in sending my Owl Swap out...but I finally did this week and Sharon has received it, and I didn't want to post any pictures until she received it...you see, I totally am all about surprise's!!!! So...this is what I made her...this is just one of them......

plus the cutest lil owl I saw sitting on a shelf at StarBucks...and then some munchies...and had I known that she was throwing a pajama party tonight...I would have thrown in MORE munchies! Back to the Owls....I was totally stumped on what to make until I stumbled across this CUTE FREE PATTERN from Robert Kaufman....who by the way has the best ever fabric! I wanted to share the pattern with you because I had the most fun making them! I made extras..Missy's already picked out hers and then I'm going to send one to my mom (cause I love her so much!). So check the pattern out!!! Make some!!! You'll enjoy every minute of it like I did!!!!

A day with my baby!

I am going to bore you today with pictures from my day with C! We had the weekend off ....and it was nice to sleep in FINALLY! So on Sunday C and I went to Temecula because I had an order to drop off at Rooster Creek. So we decided we would go to our favorite restaurant SOUP PLANTATION! But first...we had to go to Marshalls to return some really cute Hurly jeans that I found him...that didn't fit and he didn't like them anyway...what???? He doesn't like my taste! We were too early and Marshalls wasn't open yet, so we hopped over to Starbucks where he was having fun taking some pics!

oh please don't pick me apart too much! LOL My hair is in bad shape!!! The greys are taking over! I have an appointment for Tuesday and I CANNOT wait!!!! I think I will go all dark this time..no hi-lights! Here is C as we were waiting for Marshalls to open. Sneaking a chance to sit in the front seat.....

And here's my yummy salad and baked potatoe!!!! I am proud of myself for taking these pictures...I am very shy while using my camera in public places...something I need to get over...so I am forcing myself to bring my camera everywhere with me.

Then after lunch, C and I went to JoAnns. I needed some fabrics for my Owl Swap that I am working on....yes....still working on it! I'm late! I'm so sorry Sharon!!! Anyway...about JoAnns...they totally remodeled it and everything is pretty much OPPOSITE of where it used to be! Why....do they do that???? So of course we had to tour it all! I found some really cute prints....sorry..not sharing today! You'll have to wait till Sharon posts pics...or I do after I know she has received her swap! Since C was really good in JoAnns....I let him pick out a candy..and this is what he picked out.

Okay and last.....is a picture of some flowers I cut from my yard. These are my Zenia's....and I really messed them up, as I never thinned them out...and they got way to heavy for themselves. So I'm cutting them now to enjoy them before I RIP THEM OUT!

Are you still there.......

I am! Somedays I don't feel like I am here...but I am! I woke up this morning to RAIN!!!! My bedroom window was open and I LOVED hearing the rain! Yesterday I made this soup for lunch...but I should have saved it for today! Today is a nice break from the heat...I actually had to put on a sweatshirt! Oh how I love winter clothes!!! They hide EVERYTHING!

I just listed some Annies that I finished up on my site. There are even a couple "witchy" ones!

Short and quick today girls! I am behind on my homework....and laundry....and housecleaning.....well shoot......let's just say I'm behind on EVERYTHING!

That store again......

OMG......yes! I am going to talk about that store again....The ScrapBook Corner is their name! I don't know why I didn't post a link before but I did this time....so just click on the name! And they have a blog too!

Okay..so I had to post again about them because......I won a raffle!!!! Can you beleive it!!! Me...won a raffle!!!! I won this HUGE Tote Bag FULL of goodies!!!!

I was so excited to get home to see what was in it! Tons of stuff!!!

The gal that was working the store today was just the SWEETEST!!!! She showed me and let me make her "make and take" from yesterday! The cutest card ever!!!!!

and...of course I purchased a few more things....

Cute Lil Mini Album

Remember I told you about the demo's that I saw at the ScrapBook store??? Well this is one! It was a Mini Photo Album from legal size envelopes! It was sooo cute! Their's was made up with white envelopes...but I had these red ones that I bought after Christmas on CLEARANCE! Finally...a way to use them! All I did was take 3 of them, and cut the ends (short sides) off of each side. Then I glued (or you can lick) the flap down. With all seam sides facing torwards you fold them all together at once...nice and even. I punched 2 small holes on the seam for ribbon to tie them together. Then I just started gluing away with different sheets of paper. I cut my pieces 4 1/2"wide by 4"tall. You'll need 12 different prints. I also added some torn paper to each page ontop of the first piece. And remember you cut open the ends...so you'll need like a tag to put in there...so you'll want to use a heavier cardstock...and I didn't cut all mine the same size...so just wing it there...or use already made tags. If you make your own..don't forgot to punch a hole and add ribbon to it. Then add your pictures!!!! And on the tags..don't forgot to add pics to the backs of the tags too! And then after everything is added....antique the edges of the album with a make-up sponge and brown inkpad! I had so much fun making it! I used a bunch of older pics that I had sitting around....I am going to make another one with more current BaseBall pics of C. I'm going to suprise my mom with this one...I hope she's not reading!!!!! She needs a little "pick me up" right now! If anyone makes one...send me pictures!! I'd LOVE to see! Have fun!!!!!
