My mom and I spent hours yesterday morning sitting in the Starbucks at Barnes & Nobles drooling over all the magazines! It's been so long since I have done that! This caught my eye....
and we want to make them! We found charms that we LOVE but we cannot find the the "ribbon clamps". We went to 2 different Michaels with no luck! One store told us they were out, even though they were doing a "demo" on this. whatever! I found some online, but my charms are antique and I cannot find clamps to match....any help? I think they will make great xmas gifts for readers....and teachers!
Mom and I are having fun! She finished her Christmas shopping...and I have barely started.

and I turned 40! (ouch)
We kept it very low key because of my mom. Didn't want to chance her getting sick! I left with yummy boyfriend on Friday night to go get his kiddies, and while I was gone, my friend Kim and my mom and Christopher decorated the house. Christopher made me this cute sign, because all week my mom and I were singing that song (from the Housewives of Atlanta). My mom did too much! She wouldn't listen to any of us and stop! We had so much good food!It was a great night and I enjoyed my family so much!
I didn't get any pics of just Christopher and I....he was the photographer that night! :( I'm sad.
okay....another thing that makes me sad is that my business is very slow right now....and I am seriously thinking of "closing up shop". Breaks my heart...I've been doing this for sooo many years. I am going to give it another couple of months.....we'll see. I've been trying to find a job, that's really hard...apparently, I don't even qualify for Target. Received that sad email on my birthday.
Well off to finish up an order that needs to get out asap. If I don't hop back on here before Turkey Day, I hope that ya'll have a great day...and eat lots and lots of yummy food! We are going to yummy boyfriends parents......and I cannot wait for that Honey Baked ham! My fave!
Have a great week!

Yup, I finally did it! I have ePatterns! And they are new designs!! Whoot! Whoot! Hop over to the PATTERNS page on my site and you'll see them ready to go! And I will be slowly offering my old patterns into ePatterns also. A couple of them are ready. Why did I do this? well....frankly because that is what ya'll want! I've been asked ALOT about doing them, so finally, I set my mind to it, and did it! It was actually fun! Something about seeing the templates on the computer screen....I dunno...it just made me smile! I didn't have a scanner. Well I did, before the divorce/move situation, and it was one of those big hoopla machines and something went wrong with the scanner, so I left it behind. I went out and bought a new one yesterday....one of the all in one thingy's. I was due for a new printer. Mine is acting up, feeding the paper all wrong, sometimes not feeding...and shoot, the ink is so much moola that I might as well bought a new printer the last time I put ink in it. Amazing enough I was able to hook it all up! I'm not good at that stuff. Anyway, I had soooo much fun last night in between doing my patterns. I was uploading old pictures! and putting them on Facebook. Some of my brother and I! He'll probably kill me! And omg..I found these of my beautiful mom!
Christopher thinks that this is me! LOLOL It is amazing how much I look like her! I even have the same haircut as the one on the left! I just wish I could get that "poof" that she had! That's my dad in the pic too. They were high school sweethearts. "Barbie & Ken". She'll probably kill me on these pics too! She'll be here in less than 2 weeks!!!! I am so excited! I found that GREAT yarn shop that she is going to love! I went there looking for some wool for hair for my dollies....and when I walked in, it was like heaven for knitters! She is not going to want to leave!
We had all the kiddies here for Halloween! It was awesome! Just as I always wanted Halloween to be! We had bought pumpkins 2 weeks prior when yummy boyfriends boys were here last, so we waited till Friday night to carve them! I think I was more excited to carve them than they were. That is, until we started, then they were ALL OVER IT! Christopher and Matthew thought they would draw up their own designs of "big rigs" to carve out. ummmmmm NO! that won't work! So they went online and found designs from their favorite video games. Scotty chose one from one of those fancy carving books. I wish they had those cool things when I was a kid! I wished I had bought my own pumpkin so that I could have done my own, because not one of them wanted/needed any help! Yummy Boyfriend helped scoop out guts (even though he didn't want to). What a great scooper he was!
i even did a little scooping.....and why is Scotty looking at me like that? It doesn't look like I was talking...but it looks like I asked him to do something and he was like "what???"
more scooping...this time they boys are trying......and as usual....Christopher is NOT happy about it!
boys busy at work!
And they are done! What GREAT pumpkins all 3 of them carved!
Here they are glowing.
Finally Saturday night...time for Trick or Treating. We had our own Platoon! When yummy boyfriends boys found out what C was going to be, we had to head back to the surplus store for more uniforms! All 3 were very happy with their costumes!
okay...I've been on this computer too long now. I need to straigten up the house, finish some dolls already started, start a new order, laundry.....and the list could go on and on.
Happy middle of the week everyone!

I was just thinking the other day how long it's been since I have done a "give-away". Everyone loves a giveaway right? Well, this time I am going to give-away 2 things!
First.........
This is Candy Corn Annie. She measures approx 15". Just in time for Halloween, but she can stay out through Turkey Day too!
Second........
These are Baby Molly's. Too cute! Again, you can keep them out through Turkey Day!
So, all you have to do is just leave me a comment! Just say "HI". that's all! I just wanna hear from ya'll! I miss ya'll! It's been so quiet lately! I am lonely over here! So, let's do this until Monday, October 26! That way I can get them in the mail to the winners to get just before Halloween!
I updated my website last night! There are even 2 dolls in the sale page.
Less than a month before my mom gets here! there is some good news. Her last scan didn't show the cancer, so that must mean the chemo is working....right? Just to be cautious, they are doing 3 more rounds of chemo before she heads here to Cali. She insists on driving here. I'm not comfy with that. So my brother and I bought a plane ticket for my brother to fly there (one way) and drive her back. She told us that the chemo hits her about a couple days after...and that is when she was planning on leaving. ugh! I don't want her stranded not feeling well halfway here! She should feel well enough to drive home a month later...but we'll deal with that when the time comes!
The house will be quiet this weekend. C is going to see his dad. I will miss him. very much.
Outta here to finish more dolls! Looking forward to seeing some comments from you all!Good luck everyone!

yes...loving it! only problem is that I do not have very many warm clothes. Or maybe I just haven't unpacked everything yet. There are 2 boxes in my closet, but I think that they are clothes that are too big....but I should go through them since I need to pack up the shorts and skirts anyway.
I cannot believe that I haven't blogged since before we took the boys to the Big Rig Truck Show. That was so much fun. Long day...but alot of fun!
we took the bbq so we could cook up some burgers!
we walked around taking pictures of all the cool trucks!
And I even got my picture taken with yummy boyfriend! who btw got 1st place in what he called the "beauty contest" for his truck! I knew he would! Congrats!!!!
I finished up some dolls the other night....snapped some pics yesterday and last night put them on my website!
and I'm already whippin up some new ones! It feels so good to be working! And for some reason, I love working in this chilly weather! Bundle up and sew! And amazingly enough....they dolls are drying really good for as long as it's taking them to dry! I probably just jinxed myself!
Bachelor fans...did you hear the news? Jake (the pilot) is the next Bachelor!!! I knew it! He was so cute....so fun! It airs in January. I guess he's getting dogged out, according to AOL news...they are saying he is not the perfect choice.....because well...he's too perfect! LOL I don't care what they say, I am looking forward to watching it.....but I will miss my "Bachelor Nights" and having hot mochas and sharing my love stories with Vanessa and Laura!
Oh...and I did get my Raggedy Old Annies FaceBook page up! You can see the link up under my profile picture here on the blog. Hop over and say hi! I will also post my updates there too! It seems everyone has a facebook page now! It's fun, but it's addicting!
Well I guess I better get to work! The sewing machine and pile of bodies and clothes to sew up are waiting for me!
oh...and my mom will be here in just about a month! And good thoughts for this Friday for her! She's getting a scan done to see if the chemo is helping. It has to be! I need it to be!
Have a great day!

Okay....it's been extremely quiet.....and I'm wondering where everyone is!
Maybe....you're all enjoying this GREAT fall weather we are getting! I know that I am! Pulled out my down comforter for our bed last night! Was so nice and cozy to sleep with it! Yummy boyfriend likes the chill at night...so of course...I'm freezing my bootie off...cause I'm cold at 80 degrees! LOL The only bummer is that fall weather means fall allergies for me! I've been sneezing like crazy! I HATE sneezing! Someone just told me that when you sneeze it means someone is thinking of you! LOLOL Now I knew that about the "clasp" on your necklace (when it falls down to the charm close to your heart) but I've never heard the sneezing one.
Are ya'll still getting my updates from here? TypePad has been doing alot of changes and updates...and I worry if it changes my subscriber list. Gosh I hope not! I miss ya'll! I really do!
I finished up some more dolls! I think I have finally fallen back into my groove....and that's great!!! It feels so good! Seeing the cute faces make me smile! But it's so quiet....I've NEVER been this quiet and my pile of dolls is getting quite large!I must be jinxed! The ex is claiming to his attorney that I make a "living" from this....and well...not so much! Oh...I changed the pictures on my website. I made them bigger! Can you see them better now? Go over to my website and see!
Are any of you gals out there on Facebook? I have a personal page, but I'm thinking of doing one for Raggedy Old Annies. Kinda like another way to announce updates. I want the name to be Raggedy Old Annies....but Facebook keeps rejecting it. Something about being "a real" name. Facebook pro I am not! but I do love it! Hooked on it! Yummy boyfriends friend says I update my status too much! LOLOL It's fun!
Tomorrow we are taking the boys to a "Truck Show". Big rig truck show! It's in Irwindale. Yummy Boyfriend is putting his truck in it! His truck is HOT! Like him! Love the truck, but I love the trucker more! I'm hoping to get some good pictures! We almost didn't think we were going to make it! He threw his back out last night, so down to Urgent Care we went! They saw him so quick! Kaiser is ON IT! The doctor was so nice! Gave him 2 shots, some good muscle relaxers and outta there we went! What a trip being down to that Kaiser. It's where Christopher was born, and I hadn't been to it pretty much since he was born. It's changed alot, but hasn't. It kinda took me right back to all my appointments! LOL so anyway, yummy BF is feeling a bit better today...so it looks like we might make it! The boys are all excited!
Well I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather, pulling out all the fall decorations and getting ready for Halloween! I cannot believe that we are already in October! It's crazy! Time flies by! Can we slow it down a bit?
Enjoy your weekend!!!!!!

Hop on over to my Website to see full pictures of them!
Enjoy! Off to work on some more! Orders to fill......and new ones to add!

because I am simply sick of this heat! We barely ran the air this summer.....and I hardly consider it running the air when the thermostat is at 84! And our bill was still higher than I wanted. It went down this past bill...thank god! But I am ready for the chilly fall weather. I WANT to wear a sweatshirt! I want to wear pants! I'm hinting for a pair of UGGS for my birthday. And if I don't get them, then I will just steal yummy boyfriends like I did when we started dating. They are too big..but heck, they keep my feet warm! In wishin for fall, I made up a few more Witch Annies!
I put 2 of them on my Website and 2 of them on Etsy.
The band at Christopher's school participated in a local parade this past weekend. The Campbell boys and I waited and waited on the sideline for him to march on by! He looked so cute in his band uniform! This school has GREAT uniforms! I was so excited to finally see him...but omg...he was soaking, dripping in sweat! Poor Guy! Thankfully we were towards the end, and we walked with him around the corner and gave him some water!
I've been looking for a job. That's almost a funny thought in this economy...but it's a must have for me! I went on my first job interview on Friday. Surprisingly, I wasn't even nervous! And it went well (well I think it did). But who knows! It's been a long time since I have worked (13 years) and there are so many other gals with alot more experience than me that are looking for work too! Crossing my fingers I find something soon!
And the dreaded "over the hill" birthday is just around the corner! The only good thing about that is my mom is hoping to be here! Really looking forward to her getting here! I need her in so many ways! And I know she needs me too!
I'm off to whip up some more dolls!

I have a new favorite Annie! Her name is Grace Anne (sorta named after Missy's oldest Gracie). Her name is what popped in my mind when this cutie needed a name.
I tied a vintage Baby Gram to her! One of a kind here gals! I have other vintage birth announcements...but not like this one!
Grace Anne is up for sale over at my Website, along with a couple Witchy Poo Annies, a Candy Corn Annie, and a few others. About 2 weeks ago I added a few new Annies.....and I must have got distracted, as I forgot to blog about them. I am so sorry! So my site is full.....ready for you to shop!
Christopher is playing drums in the band again this year! He's loving it! They are a marching band. He brought home the snare drum the other day, so I took advantage of the photo op!
My mom assures me that she is doing great. However, I still think that she is putting on a front for me....because I think she thinks I can't handle it all right now with all that I have going on in my life. She has lost all of her hair. It makes me cry to think about it! I do, I cry EVERY TIME! I think every conversation I have with her on the phone, I am in tears. I miss her so much. I'm hoping that she will be well enough to make it here in November for my birthday. Here is a funny picture of me and my mom. I was being a snob and taking pictures of myself (someone has too) so she was sticking her tongue out at me! This is one of my most favorite pics!
btw...I do have clothes on. This was from 2 summers ago when Christopher and I flew to my aunts in Indiana. We were on the boat having a blast! Time with my mom and her sister is always GREAT! In fact, they go on several trips a year, and I BEG them to let me go, I want to be part of the "girls trip" and they always tell me that I'm not old enough. boo hoo. But....I think this birthday that I have coming up should allow me to finally be old enough! She says "we'll see". Isn't that what all of us parents say when our children ask us something. Christopher says that is my nickname. LOL
Off to start some dinner. Something simple. It's Nachos tonight. Christopher LOVES when I make Nachos!
